Reaching for a phone is how the shot gets missed. By the time it is out, unlocked and framed, the moment has moved on. Vira Scout records from your eye line — one tap on the temple and the camera rolls in 4K, hands free, exactly the view you are looking at.

How it works

  1. Put them on. They wear like normal wraparound sunglasses — the camera sits flush in the frame, not bolted on top of it.
  2. Tap once to record. A single press on the temple starts the capture. Press again to stop. No phone in the loop.
  3. Pull the footage off. Everything is written to the microSD card, so you copy it to a laptop or phone whenever you are done.

Questions people ask

Do I need my phone with me? No. Recording starts and stops on the glasses themselves and saves straight to the card.

Can I wear them as normal sunglasses? Yes. The lens is a mirrored shield, so they work as sunglasses whether or not you are recording.

How long does a charge last? A full charge is built to cover a day of on-and-off recording. Continuous recording will drain it faster, as with any action camera.

Frequently asked questions

Will people know when I am recording?

Yes. An indicator light on the front of the frame comes on whenever the camera is running. Please still use common sense: tell people you are filming, and put the glasses away anywhere people expect privacy.

How do photos and video get onto my phone?

Through the companion app, over a wireless connection. There is no cable to plug in and no memory card to take out.

Which phones do they work with?

Both Android and iPhone, through the free companion app.

How long does my order take?

Orders ship within 2 business days with tracking. Shipping is free on orders over $150.

What if they arrive damaged, or are not for me?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we will replace them. Returns are accepted for 30 days on unworn glasses in the original box, and every pair carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults.
